First time I go there and it's breathtaking, never thought it would be so amazing. There books for almost everything on the palnet, and there is the small museum down there with all the statutes and objects that was made thousands of years ago. Its full of art and history and the very amazing building itself. Loved it from all my heart.

Totally in love with this place, it is like all civilizations are gathering in there. A modern place with an amazing historic touch. Was there a couple of days ago, and was so excited to visit the planetarium but they told me there is some renovation works going on in there and the reopening will be on Jan 22nd. Will visit it one day for sure.

Tremendous library! It was reborn on October 2002 to reclaim the mantle of its ancient namesake. It is not just an extraordinarily beautiful building; it is also a vast complex where the arts, history, philosophy, and science come together. Moreover, the myriad activities it offers have made it a place for open discussion, dialogue, and understanding. The BA has four museums: the Sadat Museum (dedicated to the memory of the late President Sadat), the Antiquities Museum, the Manuscripts Museum, and the History of Science Museum.

The MUST-VISIT place in Alexandria!!! DO NOT MISSEverything there is simply amazing - the building, the people, the exhibition and the activities. There are free tours in different languages, also a free virtual tour through the Ygyptian history on 9 interactive screens (ask about it at the information desk). You can also access the reading halls with your entry ticket. There are a lot of additional exhibitions, some free, for some additional ticket is necessary. Practically someone could spend a whole day in front the library not getting bored even for a second. Just amazing experience. :)

Amazing and beautiful library! There is so much history related to this location and I fully recommend visiting here if you are in Alexandria! The price is a little higher than I expected but it was still within reason. If you are just going to see the library, there are some locations which are off limits (but are not marked as so) and this can cause confusion. However, overall it is excellent as a place to visit and also likely one of the best locations in the world to find any book you wish to read on any subject! You could spend your life reading and learning here!
