Nice level park along the Potomac river in old town alexandra, can be wet and muddy on the winter.

We love it. Clean park close to water. Geese & ducks were swimming in the water and my kids went nuts . The park is well maintained and not crowded. There is a volleyball area with sand that my kids used it to play in the sand. There are plenty of benches throughout the park and the view is awesome.
Beautiful waterfront park in old town Alexandria. Nice walk along the waterfront and also plenty of grassy area for picnicking or playing. There is also a sand volleyball court.
Clean, relaxing park right next to the Potomac. Have been there several weekends and it is never crowded. On the hottest days you can set out a mat under a tree and enjoy the breeze. No real amenities, but within walking distance to stores and restaurants.
