This review is for Melissa Shelby. Melissa helped me sell my mother's home in Old Town Alexandria. Selling her house, had it's challenges as the house needed a lot of repairs on the inside. However, Melissa was very diligent in working with me on strategies that she thought were the best on selling the property. What I liked the most about working with Melissa was that she always told me her opinion but left me to make the ultimate decision. It should be noted that I live in Atlanta, GA and never met Melissa in person. All of our correspondence was by phone, text and email; which Melissa did a very good job on keeping me up to date with everything. I considered a few different real estate agents before deciding on Melissa. What won me over with her, was her compassion and understanding. Our first conversation lasted over an hour when I called her at around 6pm on a weeknight. She never rushed me off the phone and gladly answered my all of my questions as this was my first time selling a house. Selling a home can be very challenging and stressful and I was very glad that I did this process working with a very honest and hardworking agent in Melissa.
