Have been a customer for 2-3 years. Always pleased with their work and the ability to have shoes shined and get them back same day. However, dropped two pair of shoes off on a Monday and was told I couldnt pick them up until Friday. Found out Wednesday evening that my husband had to travel early Friday morning and needed one pair of the shoes I had dropped off. Today, Thursday morning, when they opened I went in and explained my problem and asked if it would be possible to pick up just one pair of the shoes by closing time. Clerk explained that they wouldnt be ready until Friday evening. I said I understood but due to a last minute business trip could I possibly get them back this evening. He said no, if I wanted them today I should have brought them in yesterday or this morning. I dont understand why I can bring shoes in Wednesday or Thursday and get them back Thursday, but shoes I brought in Monday wont be ready until Friday.Very disappointed that he couldnt explain and also wasnt interested in trying to help.
Been getting my shoes repaired here for years. Its now under new management and the new owner is rude, unprofessional & very expensive at that. Guess I have to find a new place now
Used to be great but appears to be under new management. Dropped 2 pairs off last week - 1 for simple fixes that would take 5 days, and 1 for more extensive dyeing that would need 8 days for the leather to dry, etc. Went to pick up the first pair after the time they were promised and they hadn't been started (after waiting 10 minutes for him to even discover where they were hiding). Also discovered that the pair that required all sorts of drying time hadn't been started, so either he lied about the amount of work required or they would also not be done at the promised time. Ended up taking back the shoes with nothing fixed, and now I have to find a new cobbler. Extremely disappointed at the change in service.
We had an emergency repair to my daughter's softball glove and Barbara was absolutely fantastic! She re-laced the top lace on the glove and my daughter couldn't even tell the difference! They are kind, a pleasure to work with, and do EXCELLENT work. What more could ANYONE want????
Was really pleased with the repair done on my dress shoes.My favorite pair of dress shoes were very worn, and one had a hole on the sole. These were the shoes I got married in, so they carried sentimental value (hence not just purchasing a new pair). The price of the repair was not cheap, but I would say it was very fair. Had the soles and heals replaced on both shoes. The new parts are clearly made of good material and were thicker than the original. Plus, they polished the shoes. They now look brand new!Very pleased with the services provided. Plus, Ricardo was very pleasant. Highly recommend!
