Visiting Alexandria? This is the Metro station for you. All the buses from Old Town (or the rest of Alexandria) come here. Or you can just walk on a nice day. King Street has a ton of places to sit down and eat, shop, or do business.

If you're visiting DC and want to stop by Alexandria, I definitely recommend riding the metro to King Street Station. It's a super easy walk from here to downtown Alexandria. The subway station was super clean and easy to navigate.
Glad they are upgrading this stop. It's very convenient for accessing old town
This is a great station for commuters on Amtrak who don't want to go all the way to Union Station. Taking the Metro into DC instead is a cost-effective option. The yellow line in particular is a quick way to get to the National Mall and its museums via the Archives station.
