This bar reminds me of home, and the bartenders are so kind! The stuffed oysters go great w/ drinks in my opinion. Happy hour is from 4-7 every day!

Forna place that's been around for 30 years, I would call it a diamond in the rough. Although its been well reviewed, it's really a place where you can have a freak Cajun meal. I had the Death by Gumbo and the rue says it all. There is a nice old wooden bar, and its just a place you go to hangout and get some great Cajun food in Del Rey.

Looks like a hole in the wall but menu selection is great (focus on seafood), service is excellent and prices are reasonable! Wine list is also decent. If you go once, you will go again to try the things your companions had.

Customer service was great. I had the crab cakes and baked potato. The crab cakes did not have fillers but they also did not have a flavor. No seasoning on the crab cakes. Other people at my table enjoyed their food from the oysters, pork chop, gumbo, chicken and fish. The mashed potatoes were said to taste as if they come from a box.

We were on vacation in D.C. for a week and staying in Alexandria. We decided to Google places near us for dinner. Found RT's then decided to try it. Let me tell you we were not disappointed at all!! The food to die for, the staff treated us like family, the atmosphere cozy and all the deco amazing! We had drinks appetizers and dinner for 2 and it was the best meal we had and can not wait to go back just for this restaurant!! Please do yourself and your taste buds a favor and add this to your list of must tries!
