Nice speakeasy with delicious craft cocktails. Highly recommend making a reservation as I've never been able to do a walk-in. So glad I was finally able to cross PX off my speakeasy list! The Ichabad Crane was a hit and tastes like spiked apple pie! The Calvados apple brandy, the herbal Benedictine, toasted cinnamon syrup, and pecan bitters blended really well together. It was so good that I had 3 rounds and quite lit at the end of the night. My husband enjoyed the olives and the other cocktails "There's no X in Express", "Smokers Delight", and a Manhattan. I wasn't a big fan of the bubbly 12 Uvas, it was a bit too citrus for me. The speakeasy is a bit chilly with high top tables (I hate sitting on high chairs!). The room in the back is good for groups, but even colder. So bring a cardigan!Although PX is nice, I prefer the nautical-themed Captain Gregory's up the road. It's a bit more laid-back, fun with better finger food!

So....this place was recommended by our hotel, we came from out of town and we had a party of 9 with us....no one ever told us we needed a reservation and they turned us away....we tried to see if they would let us in without one , but it was not possible. Wish they would have advertised it.

LOVE IT! Has a unique feel to it and the cocktails were spot on. The staff were friendly and gave us some info on the cocktails. will definitely return

PX is a speak easy that has good drinks in a quaint setting. It is very small with limited seating and making a reservation is highly recommended. I have been to PX several times and had mixed experiences. While the drinks are usually good, the service is spotty. I love the feel of old town establishments as they cater to the customer and make the experience personable. PX falls short in this category. My visit did not feel welcoming and I felt more like a hindrance rather than a guest. I may have visited them on bad days, but each of my visits leave me with a bad impression.

Figured we would try this speakeasy themed bar and it did not disappoint. The bar itself looks like something out of the 1920s. Music is good an on theme. The drinks are a wide variety of cocktails that change throughout the year. The ones I had did not disappoint. A little pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. Finger foods are available from the attached bar. Staff was accommodating and friendly. Would definitely recommend and will be going back again.
