Clean, decent beer selection, but sat at the bar for 5 minutes while the bartender and mgr played with the tv. The other barkeep acknowledged us, but we think she thought her colleague would step up. He did not! Their location will survive despite poor service or food quality/consistency!
Amazing food and service! The blue crab in their chowder made it one of the best I have tried. The service was also fast and friendly. They even threw in a free cocktail when accidentally bringing an extra out to the table!
Happy Hour Review: Really enjoyed happy hour at this place. Good beer selection on the happy hour options, not extensive but fair. Mixed drinks ran about $6.Bar bites were super well priced and they had LOCAL OYSTERS on happy hour, 3 different kinds all ranging in taste and texture. Definately will be returning and this will probably will be our new go to place for out of town guests.*bartender was great as well
Our group of 4 stopped here on our way to Mt. Vernon. We live in TN and were in the mood for crab cakes. 3 of the 4 guests ordered the crab cakes and we all said the same thing. These are the best crab cakes we have had. My husband and his mom are Maryland folks so they have had a lot of crab cakes. There was very little breading and a TON of jumbo lump crab meat. The french fries were cooked to perfection and the jalapeno sauce was perfect for my husband. I don't do spicy but I did try it and it was good. Our daughter enjoyed her hamburger and french fries and was stealing daddy's fries.
The best crab cakes that I have ever tried. The stuffing was all crab and no filler unlike some Florida varieties. The jalapeno tartar sauce was a great accompaniment. The crab dip appetizer was tasty and served with very rustic crackers. The service was excellent, even putting up an umbrella for us to block the sun out on the deck. Try to eat outside if the weather is remotely nice since the ambience on the water is great.
