I was riding in Old Town today when my back wheel locked up. Fortunately I was only a couple of blocks away from Big Wheel Bikes. When I walked my bike up, the workers were chatting outside. They quickly diagnosed my problem and told me they could take care of it immediately: I should return in 15 minutes. I took my book down to the park nearby and read on the park bench for 15 minutes and returned. My bike was fixed! The service was fast, friendly and cheap. A fantastic experience, and as far as I'm concerned, there's only one bike shop in Old Town: Big Wheel Bikes.

The best customer service Ive had in awhile. They helped me outfit my new bike, showed me how everything worked, and even took a rusted old lock off for me. Marco is great. Cant say enough good things about Big Wheel Bikes!

Had my bike tuned up and it rides like a dream. Plus they got it done much faster than they estimated. I highly recommend this shop!

I won't take my bike anywhere else. These guys know what they're doing. I love going in there. They are always nice, knowledge, and fun to be around. I never feel like I'm getting ripped off because the prices are more than reasonable. I usually get my bike back the same day or next day without an appointment. Not many places do that or are even willing to. Marco knows his stuff; if you have any questions or ideas he has the answers. Tony loves talk to you like family. I can appreciate that kind of environment.
