Very average hotel. Furnitures in room were old-ish and not so welcoming. The AC system was ridiculously noisy, it sounded poorly maintained. Bathroom was quite tiny compared to the bedroom which was nearly empty. It was generally clean but I would have rather just avoid to touch many things. Not enough lights in room, there was not a main one at the ceiling for example. Staff was friendly and we could leave our baggages at the lobby after check-out for a couple of hours. Recommend as a cheap solution near Alexandria Old Town.
Shuttle from DCA was convenient and fast, staff were friendly. Pool was cold and rooms has some signs of aging. Fairly accessible to DC metro without a car.
I am absolutely in love with this place. I really loved the room and the hot water tub. Honestly , the hot water tub was the best part of my stay. The place is very well maintained and is very clean. The staff gives their best to make you feel like home.
The room was nice we had no major issues other than the room refrigerator didn't work, then to top our stay off they charged my card $200 after we left for a smoking fee and we don't even smoke. That's a problem!! How do you just randomly pick a room and say the customer's smoked and we really didn't? Holiday Inn has stolen $200 from compliant customer's and I will be calling management and corporate at 8am. Plus after paying $150 for a room, you still have to pay $20 to park. We will never stay here again and will not recommend this place to anyone!!!!!! 1/2/2019
Very cool place. The parking lot under the building is snug; but always plenty of open spaces. The rooms were well kept and super quiet. If anything it's too quiet almost like you've slipped into a coma. I'd recommend it though.
