Met all kinds to people at their little lobby bar . It snowed so the employees had to stay I the hotel for a couple nights. That gave us all a chance to get to know the staff and vice versa. I really enjoyed my experience, I was impressed from start to finish.

Nice rooms. Close to the event we're working at. Plenty of easy/cheap parking. Only problem is the beds have super firm mattresses, which isn't always good for our group's backs.
The room was nice than I thought it was going to be. We had a full kitchen and nice amenities. Lots of room and very clean. We only stayed one night but definitely could have stayed longer. Very clean! Only complaint was the TV. It turned off by itself once and had audio but not a picture once. Luckily we didn't need the TV too much. I read some people complaining about the parking price before my stay. They must have lowered it because it was 20 to park in their garage. The breakfast selection was awesome and fresh. Much better than the spread they had at a different hotel I stayed at recently.
Let me start with the fact that I am a lifetime platinum Marriott member, with about 2000 total stays. I was a bit reluctant to go to Alexandria for a weekend get away, until I arrived that is. I cannot begin to explain how wonderful Cynthia, who is a Front Desk Agent and occasionally covers the lobby bar/restaurant (where she does double duty as a phenomenal cook), is at her job. She will make you feel welcome as if you were family and go out of her way to go the extra mile to truly make you feel special. This experience shaped the rest of our stay, which was exceptional with the help of Cynthia.
